Shrink says no upside to posting his picks- Why the hell should we post ours

Most of the good cappers that I've talked to have left or are slowly leaving the RX. Irish has posted winners in every sport and rarely posts here anymore. We have some great soccer handicappers such as DM, JackD and VG789. In hoops there are many great ones such as Birdman, Sixth Sense, J2, Sea,Jwdog,NYreb, DM,Collegeguru. EGD,vegasguy and Dog are good in bases. Hammy's been lighting it up going 5-1 yesterday. Sea owns golf. Why should these guys post their picks here if our leader Shrink feels it's a waste of time to post his picks. Most of the guys I talk to now email their picks instead of posting them. If the sports forum is to get better then Shrink should start posting his picks in them. Also if a guy such as MFG plays the biggest chalk on the ML, run line and for 5 innings someone should be able to tell him it's a dumb play. The mods don't allow any criticism. Flaming shouldn't be allowed but handicapping criticism should be allowed. Let's get the sports forums back to being a good source of capping info instead of a kiss ass contest.

Excellent post. I absolutely agree, I dont even bother going anywhere except the RR, b/c the "sports forums" are filled with crap. People like MFG cause this site to lose creditbility. just my $.02

There are many good cappers here. it is not the fault of the Rx if you do not know how to read all of them.

Some will never be happy.

Let's not forget Biff's Almanac, who picked 58% for almost this past entire season at college hoops, and also previously posted War Emblem in the Ky Derby and Maryland at better than 2-1 to win last year's NCAA at the final 4 stage. He may have held some unpopular views but he didn't fling insults and he didn't deserve to be hounded off by a bunch of jealous losers.

And another thing... there are certain insiders, bookies, and movers (including Shrink) who DON"T WANT someone coming along picking winners and educating the public. Without a steady stream of SQUARE SUCKERS they won't make money.

Kerri- It looks like the point of the post went over your head. Shrink said there's no upside to him posting his picks. There's a huge upside to the RX with him posting. It may bring back some other good cappers. It also increases views and posts.
